Composer

I am a composer and percussionist whose work bridges contemporary concert music, experimental electronics, and pop sensibilities. Since earning my Bachelor of Music in Classical Percussion Performance from the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, I have carved a unique and multifaceted path in the music industry, most prominently as a founding member of the percussion-driven rock trio Square Peg Round Hole.

As a solo artist, member of Square Peg Round Hole, and live drummer of indie-pop band Lydia, I have toured extensively across the United States, performing at venues including National Sawdust, Webster Hall, Brooklyn Bowl, Fonda Theatre, and multiple House of Blues locations nationwide, as well as festivals including SXSW, Treefort Music Fest, and Bunbury Music Festival. I have appeared on major concert stages including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where I performed Clapping Music alongside its legendary composer, Steve Reich.

My compositional contributions across four full-length albums with Square Peg Round Hole have been described as a “creative adventure” by NPR’s Bob Boilen, earning the ensemble a headlining showcase at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention and shared bills with artists including Mitski, Rafiq Bhatia, The Album Leaf, So Percussion, The Bad Plus, Kneebody, and Dawn of Midi, in addition to touring with Ian Chang and The Mercury Program.

In 2024. I released my solo label-debut album Reveries, which marked a defining artistic statement - an introspective, genre-bending work born from quiet creative windows during early parenthood and pandemic isolation. My concert compositions have been performed internationally and commissioned by ensembles including Pathos Trio, LINÜ Guitar Duo, and the University of Tennessee Percussion Ensemble, with performances at Big Ears Festival and the New World Symphony Truist Pavilion. I have also collaborated on large-scale works including So Percussion’s presentation of Amid the Noise at National Sawdust and Irrational Forms, co-composed with Variant 6 and presented by Bowerbird.
